On April 25, 2024, the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Auto Show") officially kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center. With the theme of "New Era, New Automobile," this year's exhibition attracted numerous domestic and international automotive industry peers to participate with high quality, garnering significant attention from automakers, upstream and downstream supply chains, media, and general audiences.
BIBO has been deeply engaged in the wire-controlled chassis industry, riding the wave of rapid development in automotive intelligence and electrification. At this Beijing Auto Show, BIBO made a splendid appearance with its complete lineup of wire-controlled chassis products, including intelligent braking, intelligent steering, intelligent suspension controllers, and domain controllers.
BIBO's integrated wire-controlled braking system BIBC (One-Box) successfully passed customer acceptance during the 2024 winter calibration. The product features fast response, smooth and stable performance, and excellent braking performance in vehicle matching, receiving high praise from multiple OEM customers. BIBO BIBC has completed over 200,000 kilometers of real-vehicle endurance road tests (on specially designed routes) and has officially begun mass delivery to OEMs.
At this auto show, BIBO also officially launched its fully decoupled electro-hydraulic wire-controlled braking system BDBS + electronic vehicle stability control system BESC, benchmarking against Bosch's DPB+ESP first introduced on the Xiaomi SU7. BIBO is the first domestic company to mass-produce this intelligent braking solution, providing a globally leading solution for L3 and above autonomous driving systems. It has already been designated for 2 OEMs and 4 vehicle models, with real-vehicle testing underway.
BIBO's intelligent suspension air supply system BAS was officially unveiled at this exhibition. It integrates all functions of the compressor, gas distribution valve, and ECU controller, boasting complete independent intellectual property rights, and will achieve mass production in the third quarter of this year. BIBO is the first domestic technology company to mass-produce this product with complete independent intellectual property rights and has established deep strategic cooperation with the leading domestic listed company, Baolong Technology.
Baolong Technology & Bibo Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony
BIBO has completed the product development of its electric redundant steering system BEPS-PPK and the technology reserve for wire-controlled steering BSBW-PPK, supporting full-scenario requirements for L3 and above autonomous driving. Meanwhile, BIBO's steering products have secured strategic cooperation with leading domestic customers and are expected to achieve mass production next year.
Additionally, BIBO showcased its electro-mechanical braking system BEMB, which adopts a new domain control + distributed system architecture, integrates electronic parking functions, features low drag, and significantly improves braking performance, meeting the requirements for L3 and above autonomous driving and distributed electric drive architectures.
During the three-day exhibition, BIBO's booth attracted numerous visitors, including OEMs, professors from Tsinghua University, alumni groups from Wuhan University of Technology, core suppliers, international delegations, and media reporters, who came to gain an in-depth understanding of BIBO's product status and technological roadmap. Leaders from numerous OEM customers such as Geely, Changan, GAC, Dongfeng, Wuling, and Chery visited the booth for exchanges, expressing affirmation of BIBO's mass production status and product quality, as well as high praise for its forward-looking technology research. Reporters from CCTV Science and Education Channel and China Automotive News came to the booth for interviews, gaining a comprehensive understanding of BIBO's development status and forward-looking technology layout.
At this point, BIBO has fully completed its XYZ three-axis layout for intelligent braking, steering, and suspension. Its full-stack intelligent braking products, including the integrated wire-controlled braking system BIBC (One-Box), fully decoupled electro-hydraulic wire-controlled braking system BDBS, electronic vehicle stability control system BESC, and anti-lock braking system BABS, have all achieved mass production, with an annual capacity of 2 million units. With the mass production and launch of intelligent suspension and steering products in the coming year, BIBO will be able to deliver complete intelligent chassis system solutions to customers. BIBO will continue to focus on the integrated control of the three intelligent chassis systems, empowering the advent of automotive intelligence and unmanned autonomous driving, and building a well-known domestic brand for automotive wire-controlled chassis.
